First Days of School

First Day of School: TAKE ONE.

Here is Jon moments before heading over to the school for his first college class which he is taking for seminary credit. He arrives early. No one is there. He wanders around. Returns several times. 10 minutes after it should have started he finds one of the two or three people he knows in the college and asks what's the deal?

Have you seen the modified schedule?

What's that?

Jon missed his first class.

First Day of School: TAKE TWO.

The following Monday was the first time Jon got his class right, and was also Elijah's first day back at preschool. He loved it! Way more than last year. Funny how it takes these milestones to realize how much the person is growing up. He was raving about all the things he did and the new friends he made. He also enjoys art class on Tuesdays, which he is loving as well.

Brady is a little sad about not having school yet, but he does get Moms & Tots on his own now, without Elijah (it is during preschool) and also is in Sunday School by himself (which he isn't too happy about, yet). He likes playing by himself at home though, and having his special time with Momma.

Wow, such a big boy to be going off to his first day of school. And Elijah is really growing up too!

Funny story. Ha ha. "What's that?" That's good stuff. At least it wasn't really your first college class ever or you might have felt a bit in over your head. They might start to wonder about granting you that seminary credit after all... =) Glad it's all straightened out for ya.

Awesome that Lij is more comfortable at preschool this year. Josiah felt the same way. And Abby cries like I'm pinching her or something every time I tear her away from the preschool. Something tells me she'll be ready for her turn when the time comes. Brady too, I bet.

Anyway, here's to another year!

Still waiting to see pictures of your birthday Jon! Did you decide on the bouncy castle or the clown?!
Can't wait to see you all this weekend! Not to mention the stuffing...
