Our Time in 'Skatchewan

Well, we have finally arrived in Caronport, Saskatchewan (Brady uses the above abbreviation exclusively. Here are the boys with the Beadman kids revelling over our local tractor.

Pictures of the new home are coming soon, but this post and the next give a bit of a review of this summer of transition. We did a lot of moving around. The support of parents in times like this is a great gift. Even with the resltessness of homelessness we had some great times with both sides of the family this summer. Saw some old friends too. It was great.

We had two stints in Prince Albert: the new home of Jon's folks. This time consisted mostly of hanging around at playgrounds, by the river, in the house, and in the backyard (including a playhouse, a sandbox and Jon and his Dad practicing headers and bursting two of Elijah's soccer balls on a thorny tree which was eventually cut down).

The highlight, however, was a trip to the marvelous beach in Northern Saskatchewan (who knew there was such a thing?): Waskisou.
