Summer Plans

Just realized that just because we don't have a camera doesn't mean we can't post some family news. So here's our plans for the summer that we're really excited about, if anyone is interested:

June brings Elijah and Angie's birthdays and we will be celebrating the gift of life God has given each of them, and us through them. Elijah turns 4 and will get a chance to celebrate with both sets of his grandparents as well as with the Weighills. He is counting down the days and is insistent on seeing his gift early, but we have stayed strong.

In mid-June we will be making a trip to Selkirk as well. Our first time back since moving away. Jon will only be there for part of the time, as he is dropping the family off on his way to a conference in Minnesota, but we all look forward to reconnecting with people out there. Jon is greatly looking forward to confirming his nerd-dom by going to a GK Chesterton conference in St. Paul where he will be hob-nobbing with other GKC nerds and researching for his thesis.

July is our official holiday month. We will be at Grandma and Grandpa Coutts' 60th wedding anniversary in Fairmont, BC, and then visiting friends and old haunts in the lower mainland for a week before having a Zelensky family holiday in Kelowna. Good times ahead.

August is back to the grind-stone. We are going Alberta mid-month as Jon is speaking at a youth camp there. Jon is also preaching at Moose Jaw Alliance a couple times before the new pastor arrives.

So that's the plan. Look forward to seeing many of you!

Elijah's birthday went great! Auntie Laurie, Uncle Richard and Charlie even made it out for almost 24 hours!

And my parents gave us a camera, so we should have some pictures up here soon!
