Top Dozen on the ipod

Many of you may not know that Angie bought Jon an iPod nano for his birthday. Jon also blew almost all his birthday money on music (thanks family!). So its been two months of listening and here are the 12 most-played tracks on the iPod:

12. Staralfur - Sigur Rós, Agaetus Byrjun (19 plays)
11. Avalanche - Ryan Adams, Love is Hell (20)
10. How Few There Are of Your Eyes So Strong - Jeff Coutts, Your Imagined Fire (20)
9. Corrugated Tin Facáde - Buck 65, Secret House Against the World (20)
8. Please Do Not Let Me Go - Ryan Adams, Love is Hell (22)
7. The Shadowlands - Ryan Adams, Love is Hell (22)
6. Love For Granted - Phoenix, Alphabetical (22)
5. Long Distance Call - Phoenix, It's Never Been Like That (24)
4. Rally - Phoenix, It's Never Been Like That (25)
3. Lyin' On A Beach - Joel Plaskett, La De Da (25)
2. Consolation Prizes - Phoenix, It's Never Been Like That (27)
1. Barely Moving - Jeff Coutts, Your Imagined Fire (28)

Of course, this doesn't count what we've been listening to on CD. And this is mostly what Jon listens to, although Angie does take the ipod to work some days. But there you go, for fun, the top 12 the last 2 months. Thanks for the birthday presents folks! Anyone looking for something to add to your Christmas lists I can highly recommend all the above albums!

Like the quote on your sidebar. I read Mark Twain's diaries of Adam and Eve a couple of months ago and thought they were hilarious.
. . ."I tried to get him some of those apples, but I cannot learn to throw straight. I failed, but I think the good intention pleased him. They are forbidden, and he says I shall come to harm; but so I come to harm through pleasing him, why shall I care for that harm?"

yeah, some of the funniest stuff i've read in awhile. that quote was good. i also liked the last entry of the book ... but i won't spoil it for everyone. quite endearingly funny and even insightful i thought.
