Jon: "Yes, Brady?"
Brady (after a short pause): "Is the chicken in the living room?" (referring to a dancing chicken that freaked him out a few days previous)
Jon: "Yeah, it's in the living room." (I'm not sure exactly what all I said but that's not the point)
Brady: "Mommy took the batteries out?"
Jon: "Yes she did."
Brady: "It doesn't talk and dance anymore?"
Jon: "No Brade there is nothing to be scared of."
Brady: "Otay."
And then there was Elijah last night at prayertime:

He is very sensitive lately about "being a monkey" and "doing bad things" and so we tell him that's good to not want to do bad things but we forgive him when he says sorry and love him no matter what. He also knows that Jesus died on the cross "because he loves us soooo much" and "to take away our bad things", so last night he put it all together and of his own volition prayed the above prayer. Nice eh? (Of course salvation is a journey, and he doesn't really remember it today, but that was quite a moment we think)

Awww, thanks for sharing!
The boys are growing so fast :(
Great stories, Amy and I enjoyed reading them this morning.
See you in 12 days.
When I last saw Brady he was barely talking and now he's stringing together those kind of sentences? Man, I miss those boys. And Jon & Ang, I can only imagine what kind of sentences you guys must be stringing together by now! Alas, we've missed a lot. Thanks for sharing these moments.
Jen =)
